Against my will, I am on a diet. I have been indulging on all the yummy treats the past days and now my tummy seems to not like it anymore. Needless to say the best weight loss pill shared to me by a friend won’t be of use, for now. At least, I am hoping that I will be able to lose all the extra pounds I have gained the past weeks. I promise to eat more sensibly this coming New Year.
I am so glad we’re done shopping for gifts. And today DS gave them to his teachers and some of the people in school.
For the rest on our list, we will just be giving them cash. I am still undecided whether to give toys or cash to DS’ younger cousins. We’ll see if we will find time to brave the crowded malls next week. I am also considering la flor dominicana for the elders. But we’ll still see. I can take the shopping and paying at the cashier. It’s the waiting for the items to get wrapped that I really don’t like so much. Wrapping them myself is not an option. I don’t have the patience and the energy to do that right now.
1. What we want most;
2. What we think about most;
3. How we use our money;
4. What we do with our leisure time;
5. The company we enjoy;
6. Who and what we admire;
7. What we laugh at.

Guess who’s so lazy to shop for gifts for baby? We attended a baptism last weekend. And up until the day of the event, I was hoping that I could shop a gift for the baby. Guess what, I never did. I was sick the previous week thus I wasn’t able to go out. It would have been fun to shop for a girl. But then again, I gave the next best thing – cash (paypal cash, at least). At least, the mom can get what they exactly need. I just think giving cash or gift certificate is more practical as you are sure that it will never go to waste. Plus it is also advisable for those families trying to minimize the clutter since they can use it to buy what the family needs and you help them by not adding another clutter to their home. It’s just what I think though. Feel free to disagree.
Got these on sale last year. Wondering if I could score new ornaments this year. Have to visit the mall this month. They put the ornaments on sale a week or two before Christmas.
Finally I am done organizing my bookmarks in Firefox. I actually dread the task, but I was glad I did it. I was able to get rid of sites that are no longer up. I was likewise able to discover some great sites that I have bookmarked a long time ago but never really got the chance to look into. Would you believe I even bookmarked a site on free online dating at Zyngle.com. Anyway, my sites are now neatly organized into folders so I can easily find each when I need them. Sometimes I feel that organizing can be therapeutic.
Something DS never seems to get tired of. He got high grades for the second grading so I might bring him to Market! Market! one of these days to shop for stickers. We usually go the toy store selling party supplies and giveaways as they have a good selection of stickers.
I am almost done shopping for DS’ gifts. I actually did shop for his gifts from one store only. It was unplanned, but nevertheless, I am glad I was able to catch Toys R Us sale in Alabang Town Center on its last day and so I was done with shopping in a flash. I only have one more major gift (‘major’ not because it’s expensive, but because it’s on his wish list) to get then we’re set. I might get few little gifts as Christmas approaches just so he will have lots of presents to open. I would love to get him this big toy truck he saw in Rustan’s, where he can fit all his toy character figures, but I am afraid it is WAY out of my budget. Getting him horse riding helmets is actually much cheaper.
