Happy to see the Smurfs’ Village has day and night. It’s night time at my village right now. I hope it is still night time when my son gets home from school so he can see his lamp posts all lit up.
Repairs, be it house repair, car repair, motorhome repairs and the likes, can put a big dent on one’s budget. Thus we should allot a portion of our monthly savings just for these maintenance alone. These are unexpected expenses so it would be so much easier for us if we already have a budget set aside for them. Unfortunately though, I haven’t been so diligent in that aspect. I would have wanted to put up a little garden on the front yard and maybe update the flooring, but my itty-bitty budget can only go so far. I really hope I can pull it off before Christmas.

I am starting to think that we should switch to digital TV and have digital antenna. Our current cable TV subscription does not have the best reception. I also noticed that we are losing signal regularly, and not just for a few seconds, but hours! Good thing I am not so much a TV junkie anymore. Thanks to the internet, I usually just download my favorite series rather than waiting for it to be aired here. But still, we should get what we pay for so we really should do something about our cable subscription.

We never learn. We went again to the sale, on the first day, and it was a blockbuster. I thought it won’t be that crowded since we were there about an hour after it opened. But I was so wrong. But then again, I wasn’t really planning on getting anything. I just wanted to look around. Haha! I saw a fellow mommy from TU there and she happily offered me to share in their spot in line to the cashier. However, with the crowd, it really was so hard to look around. Oh I saw a toddler bed set, Sesame Street that I’m sure DS will love, but DS might be too big for that. It rained too and since we were parked a bit far from the store, we decided to wait it out at the tire center since DH is canvassing for tires and bearings. And yes, we are coming back on the last day of sale, where there is less crowd, but less items on sale.
A great gift idea. Still deciding if I will order one for DS. There is something for girls too.

I have been in search of a stamp maker for quite some time. And I am happy to have come across invitationbox.com personalized stamps. I initially thought of ordering one for me but I saw tons more uses for it from the site. I am thinking of getting one for DS so he can stamp on his books, notebooks, papers and more. It is timely to order a holiday stamper too. I’m sure it will be fun stamping on envelopes, gift tags, stationery and cards come Christmas.
