Just a week or so in Instagram, and I have a feeling that it’s not my cup of tea. I can barely catch up with friends on Facebook and Twitter, Flickr even, I don’t think I can afford to add another social network on my plate. I can’t even find the time to help out a friend research for best creatine supplement. Sure I still take photos on the iTouch once in a while, but those will be for scrapbooking purposes. I can’t say that I am so busy. Sure there are tasks and errands that need to be done every single day and then of course there are days that those tasks can actually be overwhelming. But if I really want to do something I know can always find and make time for it. So I guess this is one the things that I decide not to make time for. I guess I choose to lounge around than tinker on the iTouch. Haha! Flickr is enough for me, for now.

I hope I can make time for this this summer. My current project, which I started YEARS ago is still unfinished. And if I ever get back to this craft, surely I will be starting another project again. The current one is quite ambitious. I should try something simpler this time so I can finish it. I am thinking of trying our baking, too. Now this is quite ambitious and I need all the energy and luck on this one. Looking into each of the brother printers I have shortlisted and finally deciding on one is also on my list. A printer isn’t a nice-to-have anymore. This is something that every home must have if you have a student in the house. Plus I figured a printer is the more practical choice than getting a labeler.

Gift Ideas For Ladies.

Posted: March 19th, 2011 | Author: admin | Filed under: Random | No Comments »

I am once again on a hunt for nice gifts for women. I plan to give a little something to my son’s teachers before the school year ends. I asked my son and he said he wanted to give his teachers some chalk and papers. A nice and very useful gift indeed. I’m sure though his teachers will appreciate more something that they can personally use and enjoy. I think teacher deserves some pampering every now and then. So I am thinking of getting them some bath supplies or some pampering sets. A spa gift certificate is on my list, as well.

I heard good reviews on the services of Urbana. Maybe they can get to try Urbana Laser Hair Removal. I heard that they use only the best and latest in laser technology which promises reduction of hair growth permanently. You can even go on with your normal activities during the duration of the treatment. In addition, all their laser specialists are experienced and have undergone core knowledge laser training. So you are guaranteed to get the best possible results of your treatments. Aside from this, I’m sure they can enjoy the other services offered by Urbana. These include skin treatments customized to your needs, salon treatments and specialized waxing.

pens
I am currently addicted to pens. I initially placed them in a mug but I found it hard to go through every one of them so I thought of putting them in this plastic organizer. I bought this organizer just because. Finally I found a good use for it. Inside are my gray desk calendar and my purple planner. Can you spot my oh-so-short pencil? That’s actually my son’s. And right now he is so fond of sharpening his pencils, thus they get short so quickly.

pens
This is the other side, still filled with pens and markers. Good thing there are just cheap. I won’t need to resort to online cash advance just to give in to these. I would love to get the whole set of colored pens and markers but I think it’s more fun buying them in batches. And yes, my son loves these too. He has been itching to get a hold of them.

Here’s a simple way for kids to store their collections: Accordion-fold a strip of paper, and glue the first and last pages to the inside of a box’s lid and bottom. Keep some pages empty so the collection can grow. Martha’s Crafts.

This is a neat idea. I plan to do a similar thing and compile my son’s little drawings or perhaps cutouts of his favorite characters into little accordion boxes. I get to keep some of his favorites and yet keep them all tidy. I just love Martha. She never runs out of ideas. I’m not sure though of his big books and bulky toys, toy steel drum, street signs and bridges especially. Perhaps I can just take a picture of them to remember. They are just too bulky to keep as remembrance.
