So my SIL still has space in her balikbayan box. I am so tempted to browse my favorite online stores and shop. Too bad, I do not have budget for some shopping right now. Still I am looking at unique mother’s day thoughtful gifts, but isn’t it a bit too early for that? Personally, I do not want anything right now. Ok, save for the three prime lenses I am dying to get. But I guess, I might still shop a little so SIL can finally ship the box here. I also should get a few items for my boys, as well.

I am down with a flu. I am not sure if I got this from the virus circulating around our house or from staying up very late in very chilly Tagaytay. I’m not sure if pine beds or any other beds can make me feel comfortable right now. Anyway, I promised a dear friend that I’d meet him when he comes for a visit. And so our group from high school met and had dinner in Alabang, then off we went to Tagaytay for coffee. I do not usually join their meet-ups but I just couldn’t break my promise. Real, great friends don’t come very often, so I had to make time for him.

I think I will be needing a pre-workout supplement the next time I hop on the treadmill. I brisk walked yesterday, and after only fifteen minutes of walking, I felt so tired. And I slept afterwards. I came across pre-workout supplements and even jack3d side effects from a cousin who is seriously into exercising. I wonder if there’s a similar kind of supplement for me. Seriously, I better get active more. This is what I get from sleeping and lazying too much. But it’s the season for asthma, so I really have no choice but to take it easy.

I like this a lot. I will be posting this somewhere in the house. I’m sure my kid will learn from this list.
1. Share everything.
2. Play fair.
3. Don’t hit people.
4. Put things back where you found them.
5. CLEAN UP YOUR OWN MESS.
6. Don’t take things that aren’t yours.
7. Say you’re SORRY when you HURT somebody.
8. Wash your hands before you eat.
9. Flush.
10. Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
11. Live a balanced life – learn some and drink some and draw some and paint some and sing and dance and play and work everyday some.
12. Take a nap every afternoon.
13. When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together.
14. Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Stryrofoam cup: The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.
15. Goldfish and hamster and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup – they all die. So do we.
16. And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned – the biggest word of all – LOOK.”

After weeks of very little, actually close to none, exercise, I walked on the treadmill yesterday. What do you know. I was so dead tired only after fifteen minutes of brisk walking. I actually fell asleep after. I was so disappointed as I wasn’t strong but I wasn’t so weak either that a few minutes of exercise could make me fall asleep. Sigh. I guess I should do this more often. I know of a friend who uses hemo rage black for his pre-workout supplement, but this one’s for men though. I wonder is there is such for women.

I have been coming across articles about oil cleansing method lately. You see I haven’t been putting anything on my skin for the longest time. I have tried creams and some worked but I decided to look for something natural instead. Good thing I have read about cleansing using oil. It’s cheap and pretty simple. I have to bookmark the site {http://www.liverenewed.com/2011/01/how-to-naturally-clean-your-face-the-oil-cleansing-method.html} for future reference. I will surely be trying this one out. However, when it comes to other skin problems such as wrinkles, I think best anti wrinkle creams are still the most recommended cure for them.

1. Switch to the no ‘poo method.
You can wash your hair without using conventional shampoos and conditioners, and your hair might actually look better in the long run.
2. Start making your own deodorant.
3. Switch to a natural toothpaste and floss daily.
4. Use safe and more natural makeup.
5. Drink more water.
6. Change your hand soap.
7. Use shea butter on your hands.
8. Wash Your Face Naturally with the Oil Cleansing Method.
9. Use Jojoba Oil for Your Eye Makeup Remover.
10. Use Pure Lanolin for Your Lips Before Bed.
