Cyber Monday Deals.

I wasn’t able to shop as much as I would like to on Black Friday. I was so looking forward for that day weeks before but for some reason I lost interest on the day itself. All of a sudden, spending is the last thing on my mind. I’m not sure if a friend was able to purchase a few items for me from Walmart though. I sure hope she got me those as now that most sales are over, I am kinda regretting my decision to not shop. I suddenly thought of the things I should have purchased, like this acsonix acne treatment my friend is telling about. Good thing there is still Cyber Monday. I am hoping I can find some more great deals on that day.

Still About Black Friday.

Posted: November 27th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Random | No Comments »

Too bad, the laptop that DH has been eyeing is sold out. I know, we should have purchased it the first time we saw it. But I thought more good deals will come before Black Friday so I told him to wait. Bad move. I hope my friend got to buy me the little stuff I asked her to buy yesterday to cheer me up. We’re still hoping the store will stock up on that laptop again, same price hopefully, and maybe just ask SIL to have it shipped here. I hope we have some extra I might order stuff for my son’s birthday in March as well. And I remember, I need to get my IL’s supply of glucosamine sulphate, too.

Gifts for Her.

Posted: November 27th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Random | No Comments »

I have been thinking of gifts for my son’s teachers for a long while. DH suggested food, my all-time generic gift – cookies and treats from Marks and Spencer. But I don’t want to stock up on food. I want something that I can buy as early as now and give it to them on the last day of school. Clothes or bags might be too much. Maybe a cute little purse will do. But I don’t know their preferences when it comes to such things. Then I thought of body wash, body acne wash even, and similar pampering items. I think that would be appreciated. And it’s stocking them up in the house won’t be much of a problem. What do you think?

Organizing Documents.

Organizing my documents, both digital and paper, is a task that I have been putting off for the longest time. I don’t know where to start, that’s why. Should I try a document management software instead? Maybe that is the solution to this overwhelming task of mine. As of now, all our important documents are contained in a folder. Not bad at all, since all are kept in one place. But, they are still very unorganized. I enjoy organizing and decluttering, but for some reason, I find this task very overwhelming. I guess I should start on my closet, then on my work area, then my files.

Reading About Android.

I am not familiar with android. All I know about it is it’s the operating system of some phones, just like the htc desire android smartphone. However, I came across this little gadget from a friend that looks so much like the iPad but really, really affordable. I was told that it runs on android and so I am doing my research on that. I am so tempted to get that little gadget but I want to know more about it first. But with its price, do I really have to think about it? I am thinking not.
